I am a NYS Licensed Master Social Worker with more than 20 years of experience providing home studies and post placement visits as well as Court ordered investigations.  I am also an adoptive mother, happy to share my personal and professional experience.

The home study is a  legal document that meets the requirements of NYS and the Interstate Compact on the Placement of Children (ICPC). Parties may review it, including adoption agencies, certifying Courts and adoption attorneys.  The purpose of a home study is to evaluate and explain why you are well qualified to be an adoptive family.  The home study is used to provide a narrative about you and your ability to provide a suitable home for a child.  I will complete your home study report as quickly as possible, while making sure it is accurate and a true reflection of who you are.
